Welcome to Parent & Family Programs!

Parent and Family Programs is the office that supports you, as parents and family members of an East Carolina University student.You play an important role at ECU and we believe that the more you know about the university, the more you can contribute to your student's success here, and we want to be your partner in your child's education.

This web page is here to assist you with finding answers to your questions. If you can't find what you are looking for here, please contact the Parent and Family Programs Office by calling the toll free Parents Help Line at 1-866-552-3957 or by emailing us at parents@ecu.eduWe will answer your questions or put you in touch with someone who can.

Parent and Family Programs will respond to your needs and inquiries promptly. We provide personalized help to find solutions to problems, and help you navigate through your family's college experience. 

We also have a Facebook Page for you to connect with other ECU families to receive invaluable information and advice from other parents and families who have "been there/done that". You can request to be placed on our Parents E-mail List to receive the latest ECU information, newsletters, deadline date reminders, and other news you can use. Pirate Parents Live - Mental Health & Wellness

Parents and families are invited to join us on Facebook Live for an interactive presentation on October 30 at noon. Some students may be experiencing and showing signs of growing mental health concerns. What does that mean? What are the signs? How can the university arm you with information and resources to help your student become resilient? Join our panel representing the Center for Counseling Services, Dean of Students, and Wellness, as we discuss what students are facing and strategies to help them succeed.

Join the Parents Association Today!

Parents Association pack 2016-17

Parents Association Members receive:

Pirate Parent e-newsletter, parent hotline and email assistance, parent calendar, parent tote*, parent tumbler**.

Parents Association Membership is through a $60.00 gift to the Parents Fund. Membership is per household mailing address. Four-year memberships are available for a $150.00 gift to the Parents Fund.

Annual members or members with more than one ECU student can renew their membership with an additional Annual Membership. 

*Parent tote available at new student orientation and family weekend only **parent tumbler for four year memberships only.
