ECU Parking & Transportation is proud to bring "Pay by Space" to ECU. In an effort to improve on the metered system, we have removed all individual meters across both campuses and now have "Pay by Space" stations. Instead of the older, separate meters, there is now only one innovative station for the entire lot. Aside from the mechanical and technological improvements, the single unit station accepts US bill currency and is very easy to utilize!
We have 8 Pay by Space stations located on Main Campus and 3 on the Health Sciences campus. On Main Campus we have stations located in the following areas: On College Hill north of Scott Residence Hall (10 spaces), East of the Rivers Building (13 spaces), At the corner of 5th Street and Harding Street (45 spaces), in the lot between Jenkins Fine Arts and the Garrett Residence Hall (13 spaces), in the lot beside the Umstead Residence Hall (34 spaces), on East Campus off Reade Street South of the Willis Building (13 spaces), and South of Carol Belk building (2 spaces). On the Health Sciences Campus, we have stations by the Brody building in SM-1 (19 spaces), in the B4 lot by Laupus Lake close to the Allied Health Building (18 spaces), and by the School of Medicine and the Student Recreational Center (21 spaces).
Each space within the lot is numbered, and each number is referred to as the space's "stall". Once parked in a space, the user will simply go to the pay station and follow the directions posted on the signs conveniently placed on and alongside the station.
All of our Pay by Space Stations can also be paid through utilization of the Parkmobile Application. See the link "Pay by Application" under the menu on the right for more information about Parkmobile.
