Human Resources Information Systems

HR Information Systems supports the HR needs of the university through the application of technology. We lean on these technologies in a strategic sense and also rely heavily on data to provide the university’s administration with critical information for use in decision-making.  We provide end-user support for Banner HR, Kronos, Cornerstone, and PeopleAdmin while also developing and deploying analytic reports related to personnel, training, applicants, compensation, time-keeping, and performance data.


  • Kronos Support -Kronos Super Admins for each department submit this request for the following support items:
    • Access issues or error messages
    • Support for time/leave entries, correction, schedule changes, and similar end user support
    • To designate the Time Off Approver/Receiver or the Access and Approval manager for a new employee
    • To change an existing manager's role or to grant a new role to a manager
    • To request that Payroll perform a retroactive pay calculation
    • To request that Payroll remove sign-off
  • Kronos Training Resources

  • HR Report Modification - Users who are requesting changes to an existing report should complete this form.
  • New HR Report Request - Users who are requesting a new report be developed should complete this form.
  • Request ecuBIC Security Access - Users who require security adjustments, such as adding or removing access to a report, should complete this form.
    • Security - Users who require assistance with their account, such as security access and permissions, should complete this form.
    • Training - Users who require assistance with training, such as reviewing their transcript or scheduling events, should complete this form.
    • Course Packaging - After approval through Human Resources, online learning courses and assigned training are packaged into a specific format and uploaded by a Cornerstone administrator.
    • Employee Training Portal - If you need assistance creating a course or if you are having problems with access, please submit a Request for Service
