Deadline: Freshman Applications For Admission

Fall Semester: To be considered for Fall 2018, applications must be submitted by March 1, 2018. To be considered for the ECU Honors College, applications (including transcripts and test scores) must be received by November 15, 2017.

While the general application deadline is March 1, applicants are encouraged to apply early. We offer rolling admission, which means that as soon as we have a student's completed application, we will get a decision out to them. For the past two years, we filled our class before the application deadline.

ECU accepts fee waivers from the College Board, the ACT, and the National Association of College Admissions Counselors. Students using a College Board fee waiver will enter the 11-character code into our application. Those using an ACT or NACAC fee waiver will mail their forms to the admissions office.
